To attain the perfect percentage of fat in your body, a healthy diet is essential. Don't overeat but remember to have 3 or 4 healthy meals throughout the day. Your diet should include fruits, vegetables, lean proteins etc. It is also advisable to have as much water as you can. Food rich in sugar and fat is best avoided. Remember to work out at least 4 times a week as well.

Strengthen your abdominal muscles

The basic three exercises of bicycle maneuver, plank and reverse crunch is your trump card in building strong muscles of the abdomen. And the correct execution of these exercises is all you really need to build the perfect 6 pack. In other words, keep the exercises simple and don't bother about building separate muscle groups like the upper, inner or lower ab muscles.

Being organized in your approach helps a lot. Keep a journal if necessary as it will help you keep a track of your progress and give you yet another reason to be motivated.

Picture Perfect

Take your photo once a month. However, don't let the photos of less than perfect body make you give up. Rather, use these photos to gauge how far you've come and how far you need to go.

Weighty Matters

You might take your weight regularly, but also remember that even if you lose fat your weight might remain the same. That is because muscle-tissues weigh much more than fat.
